How can I record my show live?

Open Audio Hijack

Select window > Audio Recording and Source

Use safari for source and edit the preferences for recording to save to for the title of your show

Hit the record button on the window that pops up 

For music copyright reasons, WECB can’t upload your show to Youtube or Soundcloud etc, but you’re more than welcome to set up a website or drive folder with your recorded shows so any listeners can access them later.

How can I prerecord my show?

Use the method mentioned above or you can edit together sections of your show (interviews, etc) using Logic Pro X, Audition, GarageBand or another audio editing software. If you prerecord your show, you still have to log into zoom at the time of your show to play the file. If you’re unable to make your time slot for any reason, please do your best to find another WECB DJ to play your prerecorded show on air for you. You can always reach out to the managers about one of us filling in for you to play your prerecorded show, but we can’t guarantee that we’ll be available every time. 

Is there a place I can give feedback on my experience in WECB?

WECB wants to make sure we create a safe and inclusive environment as a student organization. If you have any concerns or would like to report an incident of bias within WECB, please feel free to fill out this form and we will work to address the situation appropriately.
