About milk crate

Milk Crate is the music publication of WECB, publishing 50+ online pieces as well as a themed, print zine each semester. We are interested in all things music, from concert reviews to industry analysis to personal essays about movie soundtracks or love letters to specific instruments.

Our focus is fostering a community of writers with a mutual love of music, and to build a space where we can work together to practice and improve our music journalism. We have a dedicated staff who attend weekly workshops, pitch meetings, and contribute to Staff Pix in addition to producing pieces. Students can join our team as writers, photographers, or designers: all we need is a passion for music.

For those unable to commit to a staff position, we accept pitches from all students interested in participating in our editing process and getting published on our website.
