What’s this?!?! @milkcrate.wecbs zine is launching TOMORROW! Don’t forget our live team is hosting a launch party for it with @developedimages, you definitely don’t want to miss it! In the Lions Den 9:30p-11p!

We’ve got a great show coming up! Come to the Lion’s Den on Thursday, Dec. 2nd from 9:30-11 for some music by @emersoncollege artists! @milkcrate.wecb is premiering our semester’s zine and @developedimages will also be launching their photo book, with lots of books from the past as well.

thanks for everyone who came out to our @www.wecb.fm booth at org fair, so lovely to see everyone in person! applications to join the milk crate team are due wednesday the 15th, you can find the form at the link in our bio! in addition to contributors who write and/or photograph anything in the realm of music, we are also looking for people to help us run social media, design our zine, edit our pieces (this is mostly for our lovely returnees) and participate in our submissions team! if you’re curious about what sorts of things you can write about for us, we have a highlight with some examples, or just check out our blog to see what we publish. so excited for this semester, can’t wait to see who joins the team!

The College Radio Coalition's very first collaborative Zine, Crustacean Feed 🦀 is now accepting submissions for our theme of community (what you relied on + what you built)!

We accept any kind of work, but some ideas to get you started:
writing ✩ playlists ✩ poems ✩ stories ✩ art pieces ✩ interviews ✩ collages ✩ photography ✩ paintings

General Guidelines:
1. Submissions are open to WECB affiliated people for now.
2. Submissions for WECB will be reviewed by the Milk Crate team- reach out to Lily Hartenstein @milkcrate.wecb with questions!
3. As a radio station we love music-related pieces, but this is not a requirement.
4. We do not require pieces to be made new or exclusive for the zine (ie. you can send in previous work), though this will be considered in the reviewing process.
5. ALL SUBMISSIONS MUST BE YOUR WORK.
6. You can make multiple submissions; they must be submitted in their own/individual entries through this form.
7. DISCLAIMER: Each station will be submitting 6 pages

Join us this Friday at the ~rAIDio Spectacular~ Live from 7pm-12:30am on RadioSpectacular.com ✨ There will be virtual performances by @sqrrlflwr, @horsejumperoflove, and @haasanbarclay, followed by DJ sets from the participating stations. This event is a Boston mutual aid fundraiser hosted by Boston’s College Radio Coalition and funding is in support of @blackandpinkma, @violenceinboston, and @justiceashealing 💜📻
