X FACTOR 2024 the second episode. Report cards and comments

Here is the second episode of the X Factor 2024 Live.

Thus continues the competition between the 4 judges Achille Lauro, Jake La Furia, Manuel Agnelli and Paola Iezzi with their respective teams, ready to battle on the stage of the X Factor Arena. Giorgia, in hosting, will dictate the times of the show.

THE BETTING MECHANISM

Classic mechanism for this second evening of the show: two rounds of covers that will lead to the run-off of the two least voted artists, who will then compete during the “final clash” whose outcome will be up to the judges at the table.

THE SECOND RUN

Danielle – RATING 6.50 – Very particular and recognizable voice. I don't like arrangement.

Les Votives – RATING 6.50 – Well constructed pop product. Mighty.

THE FIRST RUN

On the ballot: EL MA

EL MA – RATING 6.50 – Solar and pop. It lacks a bit of stage presence and musical empathy.

Lorenzo Salvetti – RATING 7.00 – Challenge won. Going out of his comfort zone. Talented.

LOWRAH – RATING 6.50 – Voice, stage presence and substance. Growing.

I PATAGARRI – RATING – 6.75 – Piece turned over, upset and transformed. The limit is that every song has the same pull.

PUNKCAKE – RATING 7.00 – I still like them. Versatile, mutant, surprising. Punk!

Frankly – RATING 6.50 – “You drive me crazy” changes clothes, changes, becomes a different song. It maintains its lyrical intensity. Credible, personal but I prefer it in other worlds.

THE ASSIGNMENTS

These are the judges' assignments to their artists:

· for Achille Lauro's team:

Lorenzo Salvetti will perform a cover of “100messages”, a very recent very successful single signed by Lazza;
Les Votives will bring their version of “Sign Of The Times”, a song from Harry Styles' global success;
PATAGARRI will customize in full “patagarroso” style, as they like to say, “sw1n60” by thasup feat. Psalm;

· in Jake La Furia's team:

Frankly he will try his hand at his version of “Mi fai mazzire”, a 2021 song by Blanco feat. Sfera Ebbasta;
EL MA will be grappling with Pink and his “Try”, a ballad that reached the top of the charts all over the world;
The Foolz will sing “I Was Made for Lovin' You”, the legendary Kiss song which this year celebrates 45 years since its release;

· for the competitors led by judge Manuel Agnelli:

Mimì will bring a cover of “Something On Your Mind”, a refined song by American country blues singer Karen Dalton;
Danielle will continue her journey into the great Italian songwriting with “Lugano Addio” by Ivan Graziani;
PUNKCAKE will bring the first hit of the American folk punk band Violet Femmes “Gone Daddy Gone”;

· in Paola Iezzi's team, which last week lost to Dimensione Brama in the first elimination of the season:

LOWRAH will perform a cover of Rihanna's best-selling 2011 hit “Man Down.”
Pablo Murphy will perform the well-known hit “Mr. Brightside” by The Killers.

LIVE GUEST

Gaia's show will arrive at the Dea Sapphica”, was the absolute protagonist of the summer with “Sesso e Samba” paired with Tony Effe, in first place in Fimi for twelve consecutive weeks and certified 3 Platinum.

ON AIR

The X Factor 2024 Live Shows will be every Thursday at 9.15pm on Sky Uno and streaming on NOW, always available on demand and visible on Sky Go; on the Tuesday following the first on air they will then be shown at 9.30pm on TV8, at button 8 on the remote control.

– each Live Show will be preceded by the special and unmissable appointment with the Ante Factor, hosted by the very confirmed Gianluca Gazzoli live from the backstage a few meters from the stage, which in a few minutes will allow us to enter the already very hot climate of the X Factor Arena thanks to the live voice of competitors, judges and guests;

– the daily strip that accompanies Live, X Factor Daily, already broadcast on Sky and streaming on NOW from Monday to Friday at 7.20pm and always available on demand;

– the Wednesday appointment, at 9.15pm on Sky Uno and streaming on NOW, with the Road To, the recap of the journey of the X Factor 2024 contestants: rewatch of the performances, the assignment of the new songs, the rehearsals in the room, until the stage was turned on for studio rehearsals.
