More WHAM and more Last Christmas at the top of the UK singles chart. New number one among the albums with the collection “REBEL DIAMONDS” by THE KILLERS.

The rock band formed in Las Vegas, consisting of Brandon Flowers, Dave Keuning, Ronnie Vannucci Jr. and Mark Stoermer, reaches the top with their second hits compilation.

With this album The Killers reach eight number ones in the United Kingdom. Previously they had reached the top with: Hot Fuss (2004), Sam’s Town (2006), Day & Age (2008), Battle Born (2012), Wonderful Wonderful (2017), Imploding the Mirage (2020) and Pressure Machine (2021) ).

The Killers are now also tied with Oasis, Led Zeppelin, REM, Stereophonics and Westlife in the chart of artists with the most official number one albums in the UK.

Other new entries in the UK top ten can be found at number three with Nicki Minaj and “Pink Friday 2” and at number five the Canadian singer Tate McRae with “THINK LATER!
