Renowned singer and actor Jared Leto has made headlines once again, this time for a daring stunt at the iconic Empire State Building in New York City. Leto, who is also the lead singer of the band 30 Seconds to Mars, was spotted scaling the skyscraper without any safety equipment.
The purpose of this death-defying feat? To promote the band’s upcoming world tour, for which tickets have just gone on sale. In a press release, the Oscar-winning actor stated, “This skyscraper is a testament to what humans can accomplish when they roll up their sleeves. It’s been one of the inspirations behind our latest album, ‘It’s The End Of The World But It’s A Beautiful Day’.”
The tour, the band’s first in five years, will take them to Latin America, Europe, the United States, and Australia. Fans in Paris can look forward to a concert at the Accor Arena on May 21, 2024.
‘It’s The End of The World But It’s a Beautiful Day’, the band’s sixth studio album, was released on September 15. Their previous album was released back in 2018.
In recent years, Leto has focused more on his acting career, with notable roles in films such as the 2022 commercial flop ‘Morbius’. However, it seems that his passion for music and performance remains as strong as ever.
