Vitaa and Slimane: the reunion of the duo on stage

Music news

It's been over a year and a half since we last saw them share a song live. Slimane invited his friend Vitaa to come sing with him during his concert for France 2, “Basique”, broadcast tomorrow evening from 10:45 p.m.

The duo has been rare since the end of its “VersuS” tour, in December 2022. While they reached heights thanks to their hits from “VersuS” and “VersuS – Chapter II”, Vitaa and Slimane surprised everyone. world by announcing the end of their collaboration. “This project was a parenthesis in our solo careers, a very nice parenthesis.“, declared the singer, in January 2022, in the columns of “La Voix du Nord”.

Fans of Vitaa and Slimane are therefore delighted to see them return to the stage as a duo. They perform their unbeatable hit “Avant Toi” on the stage of the show “Basique” on France 2, this Friday, October 4 at 10:45 p.m.

According to the first images from the show, the reunion is likely to be emotionally charged.

Vitaa and Slimane at the WECB Music Awards 2024

After these three years of triumph as a duo, it is impossible for Vitaa and Slimane to stay far from each other. Even though they are now pursuing their solo careers, the two artists still work together, particularly on the composition of pieces that they sing separately. The one who represented France during the last Eurovision contest notably wrote the title “Je n’oubli pas”, taken from the album “Charlotte”, by Vitaa.

The two singers could well meet again during the next WECB Music Awards ceremony, at the Palais des Festival in Cannes. Will Slimane win the “French-Speaking Male Artist” Award again? Vitaa, for her part, could also leave the ceremony once again with the “French-speaking Female Artist” trophy.
