Video interview – COLAPESCE DIMARTINO: a metaphysical place where the characters of our album meet

Music news

“Lux Eterna Beach” is the new album by Colapesce Dimartino. A lyrically intense, luminous, thoughtful and musically broad and very played almost orchestral record which represents a true hymn to the duo’s artistic freedom.

11 tracks, produced by Federico Nardelli and Giordano Colombo and with the orchestral arrangements of M° Davide Rossi, the Italian musician and producer who has won several Grammy Awards and who among the songs also includes a forgotten pearl such as The sailorsan unpublished song, a poem, written and sung by Ivan Graziani, which remained in a drawer for a long time, which the great artist’s family wanted to be completed by the two songwriters.

We met Lorenzo Urciullo, aka Colapesce, and Antonio Di Martino. With them we took a metaphysical and layered journey to Lux Eterna Beach between the balance of songs, politics, love and a thousand details and sonic and lyrical nuances.

The album arrives after an extraordinary year for the couple of singer-songwriters: from the success of “Splash” – the song that won the Mia Martini Critics Award and the Lucio Dalla Award at the last Sanremo Festival – up to the film debut with “La primavera della my life”, which immediately became a cult movie, winning numerous awards such as the Nastro D’Argento for the “best original soundtrack” and the Golden Globe.
