Vampire Weekend announce their new album, ‘Only God Was Above Us’

The band reappeared with a reel from Instagram that previewed a little of what we will hear in his next musical project.

The indie group from New York City, Vampire Weekend, began promoting the release of his fifth album. Through a teaser shared on their official Instagram account, titled “OGWAUteaser1.mp4.”, the group led by Ezra Koenig shared the preview of a soft piano melody accompanied by percussion from the drummer Chris Thomson.

Finally, Vampire Weekend, shared details of Only God Was Above Us, an album described by themselves as “Direct but complex, showing the band at once at their bravest and also at their most beautiful and melodic.”
