The prolific rocker announces his album number 16 with the single “Fantastic Tomb”.

After throwing albums Three Bells and Love Rudiment In 2024, the independent rocker returns with his sixteenth studio album, Possessionwhich will see the light on May 30 through Drag City. To celebrate the announcement, Segall has released the first single of the album, “Fantastic Tomb.”

Possession It arises from a collaboration with the filmmaker Matt Yokawith whom he has already worked on audiovisual projects such as the short film of Emotional Mugger (2016) and the Sound Band of the Documentary Whilebird (2020). Despite not being a musician, Yoka It provides a different vision, allowing both ideas in a process of writing and mutual edition that flows naturally.
