After the success of your debut album MALEGRÍAthe artist and producer Fabi Reynaalso known as Tropical Reynahe has decided to take his music to a new level with Malegría in the dark, an EP of Remixes which will be available on May 23 through Hotline psychic.
For this project, Reyna He has brought together some of the most innovative names of current Latin music, including Lovers of the future, Sofia Kourthesis, Pepper lido, Chacha via circuit and Simón Mejía, Each provides their unique vision, expanding the universe of MALEGRÍA and transforming it into a renewed sound experience.
This new material reinvents its original album with a more enveloping and nocturnal atmosphere, exploring more hypnotic, vibrant and designed for dance sounds. The idea of this EP emerged from an unexpected moment at the festival SXSWwhen Reyna listened to a special version of “Cartagena” during un dj set of Sylvan Esso.
