Robert Alfons’ electronic project leaves its mark with a seductive and dark single.

In the year 2022, TR/STthe electronic project led by Robert Alfonssurprised the world with the release of the album The Destroyer — Part Two. Today, the artist returns with exciting news by announcing his signing with Dais Records and the release of the captivating song “Robrash”a somber and seductive explosion of coldwave, co-produced by Nightfeelings and mixed by Nick Launay.

The dark electronic pop of TR/ST emerged in 2010 and quickly made its mark on the vibrant underground from Toronto, reaching its climax with the acclaimed debut album TRST in 2012. Following world tours and permanent relocation to Los Angeles, the project evolved through three more acclaimed albums: Joyland (2014), The Destroyer – Part One (2019) and The Destroyer – Part Two (2019).

The next chapter of TR/ST will be deployed in collaboration with Dais Recordsa leading experimental music institution based in Los Angeles and New York.

“Robrash” is now available along with its instrumental version, offering a dramatic preview of what TR/ST is in store for 2024. This return marks a new stage for the artist, exploring fresh and expressive sonic territories while continuing to challenge the conventions of electronic pop.

This exciting announcement also comes with confirmation of the participation of TR/ST in it Cruel World Festival.
