Music news

The Super Bowl 2024 it’s here. We already know the teams that will compete on the field, the artists that will liven up the break, the protagonist who could steal all the spotlights (Taylor Swift) and all the historical milestones it will have. Among them the fact that for the first time in the almost 70 years of this final a DJ will entertain the entire show: Tiësto.

This was confirmed by the NFL before the outcome of the conference finals was known in which the Kansas City Chiefs will face the San Francisco 49ers. And not even Taylor’s kiss to Travis Kelce or the artist’s possible absence from the grand finale has been able to overshadow the fact that the Dutch DJ will be the first of his kind to perform before, during and after the game.

“I’m excited to be a part of Super Bowl LVIII!” confirmed Pot through a statement. “And it’s even more amazing that it’s in my favorite place: Las Vegas. Thank you to the NFL for having me. I can’t wait to party with all of you at the big game!”

It will be one of dozens of musical activities that will mark the great American sporting event that billions of people will see live either live or on television. The organization of the show has prepared an entire week full of musical performances that include artists of all types and conditions. There are names of such gigantic size as Steve Aoki, Zedd, Alesso, Tyga or Post Malone among many others…

The concert agenda is very complete (The Chainsmokers, Kygo, Diplo, Lil Wayne, T-Pain…no one wants to be left out) for the entire week prior to the celebration of the LVIII edition of the Super Bowl that will take place next Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas next Sunday, February 11 (in the early hours of Monday, February 12 in Spanish time).

“Every year, we look to enhance the in-stadium experience for our fans, and with our first Super Bowl in Las Vegas, it seems fitting to embrace the legacy of iconic DJs in this city by having Tiesto bring his signature style to our largest event. ” explained Tim Tubito, director of presentation and event content for the NFL. “As one of the most influential DJ/producers who helped define Las Vegas culture and electronic music around the world, Tiësto is the perfect artist to help us create an unforgettable game day experience for our fans, players and spectators everywhere.

All this combined with the 14 minutes of Usher promise a weekend full of emotions… Usher made clear the importance of performing at an event like this: “It’s the honor of my life to finally cross a Super Bowl performance off my bucket list. I can’t wait to bring you to the world a spectacle unlike anything they have seen before me” said the singer about his milestone.
