The new Justice clip takes you into a Japanese anime

Music news

The group Justice has surprisingly shared a video for their title “Neverender”, in collaboration with Tame Impala.

Justice comes alive. The French duo has unveiled a new clip for the title “Neverender”, in collaboration with Tame Impala, taken from their latest album “Hyperdrama”. The video, directed by Masanobu Hiraoka, Kota Iguchi and Armand Beraud, transports us to a psychedelic world.

We were first inspired by the theme songs of the '80s anime that we grew up with, which set the visual tone of the music video. From there, other striking images of our adolescence were added. Whether it was the works of Moebius, psychedelic art, comic books, or iconic movie posters that fascinated us, Masanobu's style absorbed and unified them all.», Declares Justice in a press release.

For their part, fans love this fabricated universe and point out the resemblance with the famous video clip “One More Time” by Daft Punk. “ Looks like the Daft Punk era of the 90s. Thanks Justice “, ” Justice is the new Daft Punk, I'm not afraid to say it”, “Contemporary Daft Punk is pure gold “, we can read under the YouTube video.

The animated clip comes just days before the release of an EP dedicated to “Neverender,” featuring remixes of Keinemusik's Kaytranada and Rampa, as well as an extended version of the song.
