The Jesus and Mary Chain is back with a new song called “jamcod”. Discover its music video, directed by Ben Unwin, via the player below:

“jamcod” is the first single from Glasgow Eyes, next studio album The Jesus and Mary Chain. Its release date is announced as March 8, 2024.

He details the group’s vision: “ Our creative approach is remarkably the same as it was in 1984: get in the studio and see what happens. We went into the studio with a few songs and let it happen. There are no rules, we just do what we want. And there’s a telepathy between us – we’re these weird not-quite-twin brothers who finish each other’s sentences. »

The Jesus and Mary Chain will return to Paris for a concert scheduled for April 13, 2024 at the Élysée Montmartre. For the moment, this is the only concert announced in France by the Scots. In the meantime, prepare yourself with Sunset 666, their latest live album, which notably includes “Half Way To Crazy”.
