The first image from Kanye West's mysterious documentary

Remember when Ye said he was working on a documentary about his life recorded entirely on an iPhone? The documentary, which Ye has been working on for six years, was filmed by Nicolas Ballesteros and will reveal “unfiltered aspects of the lives of celebrities who confront the provocative opinions, grand visions and bold nonconformity that have defined Ye as l 'the most controversial artist in the world'.

This was reported by Variety, which also revealed that Kanye West's secret documentary is titled In Whose Name? and in the past few hours the first image has emerged.

The synopsis reads: “the film follows Ye's rise to become the richest black man in American history, while discovering why the superstar risked everything he had built in the name of freedom. Examining the culture that gave birth to the star, “In Whose Name?” explores the influences of corporate exploitation, racial complexities, and psychological struggles inherent in the American Dream.”
