High On Fire – Burning Down
25 years is worth celebrating! Thus, High on Fire is preparing to release its next album, Cometh the Storm, on April 19 on this occasion. Wait with the incandescent “Burning Down”, which shows that the quarter of a century has not blunted the band led by Matt Pike, who combines heaviness and brutality with as much talent as ever.
Rotting Christ – Like Father, Like Son
The Greek metal band Rotting Christ unveils the epic and solemn “Like Father, Like Son”, with guitar leads of the most beautiful effect. To be found in Pro Xristou, their next studio album, scheduled for May 24.
Knife – With Torches They March
German thrash metal band Knife releases a track they call a “declaration against racism and fascism”. Titled “With Torches They March,” this fast and furious track will feature on the album Heaven Into Dust, due out August 25.
Blaze Bayley – Mind Reader
The former Iron Maiden singer continues to slowly reveal his next studio album, titled Circle of Stone. As its release approaches, scheduled for this Friday, February 23, warm up with “Mind Reader,” in which Blaze Bayley has fun in the ring.
Midnight – Nuclear Savior
The American black/thrash metal band continues to vociferate with a song from beyond the grave placed on speeding riffs. “Nuclear Saviors”, borrowing the groove of Motörhead and the darkness of Venom, is no exception to the rule and suggests a collection of brutal gems on the album Hellish Expectations, scheduled for March 8.
Suicidal Angels – Virtues Of Destruction
March 1st is approaching, and with it the release of Profane Prayer, Suicidal Angels’ next album. Thus, the Greek thrash metal group unveils “Virtues Of Destruction”, a title in which they like to remind us that they are still fans of Slayer and Sepultura, to the delight of headbangers.
Gatecreeper – Caught in the Treads
With “Caught in the Treads”, Gatecreeper has prepared a good mid-tempo death metal for you with a catchy riff and even allows itself some well-felt melodic leads. The Americans have not yet clarified whether it will be part of a possible new album.
BlackRain – Revolution
Although it includes a bit of western influence in its intro, the new single from the French band BlackRain goes quite quickly in a typically hard rock direction, with a nice mid-tempo. To be found in Hot Rock Time Machine, their next album, scheduled for April 12.
Aro Ora – A People Defiled
Modern death metal band Aro Ora is preparing to release their next album, titled The Twelth Hour. Discover the furious “A People Defiled”, which is taken from it, rich in blast beats and harsh vocal parts.
Ondfødt – Paradiset
The Finnish melodic black metal band Ondfødt had fun digging up “Paradist”, a song more than 50 years old, to cover it in their own way. To be found in Oldfodt, their next EP, scheduled for April 5.
