Nightwish – Tribal (live)

Nightwish’s album tour Human. :||: Nature. has ended, but the group is thinking of its fans and sharing at the end of the year a live version of the rhythmic and energetic “Tribal”. This is the opportunity for the Finnish symphonic metal group to keep fans waiting before the release of their 10th studio album, scheduled for 2024. The group clarified that the latter would not be the subject of a tour.

Deicide – Bury The Cross… With Your Christ

The pioneers of American death metal are offering a Christmas treat with “Bury The Cross… With Your Christ”. Declaiming its anti-religious text with its characteristic brutality, Deicide takes the opportunity to announce the release of its next album, Banished By Sin, scheduled for sometime in 2024.

FKU. –The Spawning

Swedish thrash crossover band proclaim their love for ’80s horror films, with Piranha 2: The Flying Killers (James Cameron’s feature film debut) leading the charge on their new single, The Spawning. Find it in the album The Horror and the Metal, scheduled for February 9, 2024.

Monkey3 – Rackman

Soar into space with “Rackman”, a new single from Swiss instrumental space rock band Monkey3. This is a sample from Welcome To The Machine, their upcoming album, due out February 23, 2024. Inspired by films such as 2001: A Space Odyssey, Matrix, Sunshine, Solaris and 1984, this disc presents a reflection on the relationship between human beings and machines.

The Rods – Play It Loud

The American heavy metal band is preparing to release Rattle The Cage, their first studio album in five years, on January 19, 2024. Before that, check out the catchy and relentless mid-tempo “Play It Loud,” with its unambiguous title. All that remains is to push the knobs.

Ugly Kid Joe – Bad Seed

Ugly Kid Joe takes advantage of the end of the year to put images on their song “Bad Seed”. Released in 2015 on the album Uglier Than It Used Ta Be, this track was played during the group’s last tour, which notably included a visit to Motocultor Open Air this summer. The Americans will meet you on March 12, 2024 at Trabendo (Paris) and on the 15th at Black Lab (Wasquehal).
