Sonata Arctica – A Monster Only You Can’t See

The Finnish melodic metal band continues to confirm its return to faster tempos with “A Monster Only You Can’t See”. A title to be found in the freshly announced Clear Cold Beyond, which will be released on March 8, 2024.

Lucifer – Slow Dance In A Crypt

Wait until January 26 for the release of Lucifer V, the next album from the project led by Nicke Anderson (The Hellacopters) and Johanna Sadonis, with the languorous “Slow Dance In A Crypt” and its clip with a slick old school aesthetic .

Queensrÿche – Nocturnal Light

More than a year after its release, the American heavy metal band Queensrÿche continues to promote the album Digital Noise Alliance, in which it somewhat modernizes its old-school approach. Thus, the single “Nocturnal Light” is adorned with a clip made from images generated by artificial intelligence

Exit Eden – Separate Ways

The metal covers project Exit Eden tackles a true classic from the 80s. Indeed, the trio of singers covers Separate Ways (Worlds Appart) by Journey, with extra distortion and keyboards that are both modern and retro . To be found in the album Femmes Fatales, scheduled for January 12.

Polarys – The Warrior’s Pledge

10 years after The Va’Adian Chronicles, the French power metal band Polarys resumes its journey into its science fiction universe with Cosmic Singularity, a new EP which also marks a new beginning. It concludes with “The Warrior’s Pledge”, a strong nod to the great warrior anthems of heavy metal.

The Gems – Undiscovered Paths

Made up of three former musicians from Thundermother, The Gems continue to tease their first studio album, Phoenix, scheduled for January 26, 2024. Accompany them on the rhythmic and catchy “Undiscovered Paths”, their latest single to date.

Skeletal Remains – Relentless Appetite

Get a healthy dose of brutality with “Relentless Appetite,” which includes a double-ration of double-pedaling and guttural vocal lines as you wish. To be found in Fragments of the Ageless, the next album by Skeletal Remains, whose release is announced on March 8, 2024.

No Terror in the Bang – Retch

No Terror in the Bang is a progressive metal band that draws its inspiration from the world of cinema, right down to its name, which is a quote from Alfred Hitchcock. While waiting for the release of their second album, Heal, on February 2, 2024, here is the single Retch, with melodic layers as mysterious as they are intriguing.
