Taylor Swift breaks a record three times and celebrates it by presenting a new set of songs

Music news

The tour Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour It has been launched again in 2024 after a 2023 full of successes and great news. But in this new year, the American singer has achieved a triple record.

Because for three consecutive nights in Melbourne (Australia), the performer offered the most massive concerts of her entire musical career. In each of the shows she performed on Australian soil more than 96,000 spectators were present in front of the stage to enjoy their show. To date, the show that had gathered the largest number of followers of the vocalist and composer had been the one she offered in Pittsburgh before more than 77,000 attendees.

The figure close to 100,000 people makes Taylor Swift’s show the largest in the history of a solo artist (not counting festivals). And he couldn’t have been happier to have added a new milestone to his professional career: “Melbourne, what can I tell you after more than 288,000 people came and danced with us in the last 3 nights? That was unforgettable. You were in another LEVEL. Thanks for the memories. I’ll be visiting this weekend’s often. 🥺 🫶.”

With this phrase the singer was referring both to her historic record and to the fact that to celebrate it she offered a new set of songs that until now had not been seen in any live show, not even in those she performed a few days ago in Japan.

Getaway Car, August and The Other Side of the Door were the songs he mixed during his concert at the Melbourne Cricket Park after confirming to his followers that he had specially chosen these songs to celebrate the fact of his visit to the continent.

Super Bowl star (although he neither played nor acted) the spotlights and the public followed it, becoming the most watched television event in recent times. Her win at the Grammys, her recent award for Couple of the Year at the 2024 People’s Choice Awards, a new studio album on the way, the arrival of her feature film on Disney+ with new footage… and now a record historical.

What else does Taylor Swift have in store for us this year?
