Take That debut at number one in the UK album charts with their new album “This Life” which also becomes the best debut of 2023 for a record by a British artist/group and the ninth number one album for the band.

With 116,000 units sold in the first seven days, 97% of them on physical format, Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald’s ninth studio album surpasses the previous 2023 sales record by a British group, surpassing Lewis Capaldi with “Broken By Desire to Be Heavenly Sent,” which had sold 95,000 units in its first week on sale.

Take That have achieved nine number ones in the history of the UK chart with: Everything Changes (1993), Nothing Else (1995), Greatest Hits (1996), Beautiful World (2006), The Circus (2008), Progress (2010), III (2014) and Odyssey. (2018).

Third week at number one among the UK singles with Jack Harlow with his song “Lovin On Me”.

VINYLS

“This Life” by Take That it also debuted at number 1 on the Official Vinyl Album Chart and the Official Record Store Chart.
