Suzie Stapleton returns to France with Depeche Mode

Discover Suzie Stapleton, Australian musician, opening for Depeche Mode on March 3 and 5 in Paris.

Suzie Stapleton prepares his return to Europe with a gargantuan tour. The Australian musician will indeed be present to open the ball during the next concerts of Depeche Mode. Currently on tour to present Memento Mori, its latest album to date, the Basildon group will notably perform at the Accor Arena (Paris) on March 3 and 5. Places are still available for the second concert via the organizer’s website.

This will be the opportunity for the artist now based in Brighton (United Kingdom) to present We Are The Plague, her first studio album, released in 2020. Due to the context of its release, she was not able to go on tour to defend it. It will now be a done deal for this UFO which mixes alternative rock, blues and gospel, in which we find the spirit of Patti Smith and PJ Harvey, mixed with the soul of Nick Cave and Mark Lanegan.

Since the resounding release of We Are The Plague, Suzie Stapleton did not rest on its laurels. Among her recent exploits, we find her notably in The Task Has Overwhelmed Us of The Jeffrey Lee Pierce Sessions Projectin the song “Mother of Earth”, in which Dave Gahan, singer of Depeche Mode.

Thus, the concerts scheduled for March 3 and 5 will be an opportunity to fully benefit from this alliance of talents, between the sacred monsters of new wave and the rising star of alternative rock.
