A captivating reimagining of “France '98.”
Supersilverhaze closes its year of releases with “France XCVIII”a collaboration with the producer and musician Patricio Mijaresbetter known as Forest. This version is a reinterpretation of the song “France 98”which is part of the latest album by Supersilverhaze, The Great Reset. In “France XCVIII”, Forest transform the topic into a remix experimental that gives prominence to percussion and synthesizers, creating a unique and completely different atmosphere from the original piece.
The work of Supersilverhaze explores sounds between indie rock and electronica in the music scene. With The Great Resetreleased in June of this year, the project reaffirmed its ability to integrate diverse styles and sound textures. In “France XCVIII”, Forest takes a less conventional approach, dispensing with the iconic bass of the original version to allow for a more relaxed reinterpretation, thus giving more space to the percussive production and synths that characterize it.
Patricio Mijaresin addition to being a key figure in the production of the album, now also participates in the live ensemble, contributing his talent and vision. About this new release, Mijares explained: “In this remix of 'France 98'I explored sounds that resonate with my own style, seeking to integrate the original song into my sound universe. To do this, I worked with rhythmic patterns that, at certain moments, are out of phase with each other, which resulted in a rich and complex rhythmic proposal.”
This authentic collaboration fuses their talents to defy expectations and explore new creative horizons. With more releases on the way, Supersilverhaze and Forest They promise to continue surprising. Don't miss this premiere and stay tuned for upcoming news!
