Successful, empowered and legendary: the ‘Latin Queens’ playlist arrives with urban hits

Music news

This March 8th is celebrated International Women’s Day and if we are very clear about something in the WECB family, it is that we are surrounded by female references who have left their mark (and continue to do so) on music. Although there are still things to do, we see their presence becoming stronger on the international charts and their lyrics have inspired new generations to pursue their dreams.

The same thing happens in the urban area. It is no longer a surprise to find ourselves Karol G exhausting the Santiago Bernabéu on several occasions or to thousands of people who wait hours and hours to enjoy María Becerra’s show in the front row. But they are just an example, since the genre sounds more and more like Girl Power.

In WECB and WECB Urban have created the playlist Latin Queensbased on the global successes of leading women in music who have made us twerk, cry, jump and dance. They come from Argentina, Mexico, Spain, Chile, Colombia, and more, and their talent travels further and further.

There are 80 hits performed by 80 artists. The playlist has 28 Spanish artists or groups, as well as 13 Mexican singers, a dozen of Argentine origin, and voices from other countries such as Chile, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, the USA, the Dominican Republic, Brazil, Peru or Ecuador. In short, this is the perfect playlist to celebrate this 8-M with the urban sounds that you love so much. So press play and enjoy.

And I’m sure that at some point you’ve given everything with The_Original.mp3 of Emilia and Tini or with A thousand times by Anitta. And surely you have also thought about the person to whom you would dedicate Cactus from Belinda or Cupid by Tini. Well, each and every one of them is part of this musical list that you won’t be able to separate yourself from on this special day (although it is suitable to listen to at any time of the year).

And you, is the hit that you can’t get out of your head on this list?
