Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre are working on a new album together

For more than a year we have been talking about the return of a couple of true GOATs of rap made in the USA: Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre. The album was supposed to be called Missionary and was supposed to be produced by Death Row Records and Aftermath Entertainment, but, despite the great hype and although several photos of Snoop Dogg and Dre in the studio together were published, it was never released.

In October 2022, Snoop, in fact, declared that he was almost finished working on the sequel to his debut solo album produced by Dre in 1993, Doggystyle, and that a new project also produced by Dr. Dre would arrive to celebrate the thirtieth anniversary of that record. Snoop said he and Dre had been in the studio together for two months and the record would be called Missionary and would be released later this year.

Now, however, the hypothesis of the arrival of a new project by the two artists is coming back to light. Snoop Dogg said this on Good Morning America, where he declared “for the last 8 months I’ve been working on a record with Dr. Dre, we’re almost ready to release a single in a couple of weeks”.
