Slimane moved to make his first Bercy solo
A few hours before the start of the show, Slimane shared his emotion via his Instagram account. In the caption of a video of him singing when he was younger, he congratulates himself on the progress he has made.
“Twenty years ago, I would have wanted to tell you, the 14-year-old feeling uncomfortable in your skin, that everything will be fine. That 20 years later, you will do your first Bercy alone, in front of a packed room. To take you in your arms and hold you so tight that all your sorrows and all your fears would have gone up in smoke… 20 years to get to this point. Tonight, it’s not a concert we’re celebrating, but 20 years of hard work,” he wrote.
