Slimane will defend our colors during the next Eurovision contest, in 2024. He will perform the new title “Mon Amour”.

It’s official ! Slimane will represent France at Eurovision 2024. The competition will take place in Sweden on May 11. The head of the French delegation, Alexandra Redde-Amiel, confirmed the good news in numerous French media this morning.

“We are so thrilled to have such a popular personality who speaks to all generations. He is already a great accomplished artist with a huge career and it is an honor to have him with us.”, she explains in the columns of “Parisien”.

Slimane also shared his pride in participating in such a program. On Instagram, he wrote: “For my parents, For my daughter, For France, For you… #Eurovision2024”.

Slimane “Mon Amour”: he will sing in French

We already know that Slimane will try to win first place in this 68th edition of Eurovision, thanks to the title performed entirely in French, “Mon Amour”. The new track will be revealed for the first time during Anne-Sophie Lapix’s 8 p.m. Télévisé Journal on France 2, this Wednesday, November 8.

Last May, the candidate representing France was La Zarra. The Quebecer only took 16th place with the title “Ovidemment”.

Slimane has already participated in a competition, in 2016. He then won the fifth season of “The Voice” on TF1, before having an incredible career.
