For music, the creation team of Sitting Bull turned to Sebastian Robertson and his father, Robbie Robertson. “” It was a complicated period of our life, because my father's health was declining, explains Sebastian Robertson to WECB. However, as with many of us, the art of music has allowed us to escape. »»

Sebastian began composition alone, then shared his work in progress with his father. “” Believe me when I tell you he was a severe critic. The inspiration of this project, my inheritance and the fact of honoring both my culture and my father, made me move up a gear. He loved the demo. We have exchanged ideas, guitar sentences and voices until we are satisfied and send it to production. »»

This is one of the last projects that Robbie Roberston undertook before his death in August 2023. And Sebastian finished it on its own. “” Always by my side and instilling wisdom and artistic sense in my last choices, my father and I have created what will always remain one of the compositions of which I am most proud. (…) We have created our last piece of music together … or maybe there are others to come. I love you, Rob. And I have the deepest gratitude for the team of Sitting Bull to have made it happen. »»
