SHAKIRA: the new single “SOLTERA” (Video and lyrics)

Music news

SOLTERA is SHAKIRA's new song.

“Soltera” is a female anthem with an infectious Afrobeat rhythm.

The video was shot at LIV in Miami with the participation of Winnie Harlow, Anitta, Danna and Lele Pons.

This new song comes after the great success of the single “Punterìa”, which reached #1 on Italian radio airplay, and the 3 Latin GRAMMY nominations that Shakira received last week in the “Album of the Year” categories for Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran, “Song of the Year” for “Entre Paréntesis,” and “Best Latin Electronic Music Performance” for “Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53 (Tiësto Remix)”.

THE TEXT

(Intro: Shakira)
¡Shaka!
I went up to despejarme
And I can't wait to be satisfied, you decided to take me
I changed friends because they were only talking about it
I had to learn that I have nothing to lose
And as they are also

(Chorus: Shakira)
I need to take care of myself so that I can spend it well
This is enough and now I can do what I wanted
If it passes I'll remember it alone
I need to take care of myself so that I can spend it well
This is enough and now I can do what I wanted
If only I remember, ah (Shaka)

(Verse 1: Shakira)
The day is this boat, playa
And to pass by the sun (Ah)
In the sand above the table (Ah)
If plancito never fails, -lla, -lla
This girl has fans
And the heart left like Sanz (Ah)
Many are the ones who tyr me
But little is what they give me
Soy selectiva, little trayectoria
Normal, for obvious reasons
I'm so phobic about love
Perro que me scriba, pantallazo y pa' su novia

(Pre-Chorus: Shakira)
Nadie tells me how I should behave
Pueden opine

(Chorus: Shakira)
But I have the backside to carry me badly so I can spend it well
This is enough and now I can do what I wanted
If it passes I'll remember it alone
I need to take care of myself so that I can spend it well
This is enough and now I can do what I wanted
If it passes I'll remember alone, ah

(Verse 2: Shakira)
With a view of the sea, the hotel is reserved
Ya me predí with just one cocktail
I need a little clothing to show off my skin
The queen tree is singing honey

(Refrán: Shakira)
Aún huele a verano here
What's wrong with you?
If you want to use it
And I'm worried about this

(Chorus: Shakira)
I need to take care of myself so that I can spend it well (Shaka!)
This is enough and now I can do what I wanted
If it passes I'll remember alone, ah, ah, ah

(Refrán: Shakira)
Aún huele a verano here
What's wrong with you?
If you want to use it
And I'm worried about this
Aún huele a verano here
And that's how to use it, yes
Today I'm here
¡Ay! (Shaka)

(Outro: Shakira, Anitta, Danna Paola & Lele Pons, Todas)
Oh-oh-oh, if it passes I'll remember it alone
And now the lobas
I need to carry it badly to spend it well
That's it, now I can do what I wanted
Ay, that's it
If it passes I'll remember it alone
Look at this rico
Ay-ay, ay-ay, ay-ay, ay-ay, ay-ay, ay
I need to carry myself badly
Pasarla well
This is enough and now I can do what I wanted
If it passes I'll remember it alone
Uh-huh
I need to carry it badly to spend it well
When he comes to me, he duels them
If it passes I'll remember it alone
I need to carry it badly to spend it well
When he comes to me, he duels them
If it passes I'll remember it alone
