SANREMO GIOVANI 2024: the participants and our report cards

Music news

It starts this evening, Tuesday 12 November, with the first of five events: Sanremo Giovani.

Hosted by Alessandro Cattelan (who has been announced to also be co-host of the Festivl) here is the challenge that will lead to discovering the finalists who on 18 December, on Rai 1, will compete for 4 places in the Sanremo Festival, category “New Proposals”.

THIS EVENING'S CHALLENGES

MEW VS. SIDY – Qualify for the semi-final MEW

SYNERGY VS. TANCREDI – Qualified for the semi-final TANCREDI

ANGIE VS. MAZZARIELLO

OUR REPORT CARDS

SIDY – EVERY TIME Rating 6.25 – Contemporary melodic pop with some Mahmood reminiscences.

MEW OH MY GOD – Rating 6.30 – Hit electropop that alternates tunz tunz with intimate moments. High-performance.

SYNERGY – FLAME – RATING 6.00 – The territory is that of R&B. They do everything the style requires but don't wrap much. Perhaps a bit of purple vibe is missing in the singing. The effect on the voice on the ending useless!

TANCREDI – STANDING OVATION – Rating 6.25 – The song seems a bit in the beat Baby Goddamn of Tananai. Laboratory hit, fun but a little already heard.

THE JURORS

Among the jurors who will select the best artists for the final we find well-known faces such as Ema Stokholma, Carolina Rey, Enrico Cremonesi and Deputy Director Claudio Fasulo. It will be they, together with the “off-air jurors” Carlo Conti and Claudio Fasulo, who will choose the 4 superfinalists who will compete for victory on the stage of the Ariston Theatre.
