Sanremo 2025: the report cards and the comments of the final (live)

Music news

Here is the final of the Sanremo 2025 festival: on stage the 29 big names in the race and with Carlo Conti there will be Alessia Marcuzzi and Alessandro Cattelan.

To open the evening the DJ and producer Gabry Ponte who presented all of Italy on stage (Sanremo 2025), his latest single, chosen as the official jingle of the event.

Report cards and comments

Sarah-Toscano-150225

Sarah Toscano – “Amarcord”
The winner of Amici arrived here without half a certification in the CV. Yet he faced the competition with seriousness and lightness, with a rhythmic song that will certainly not enter the annals of Italian music but that lets himself be heard, at least for a couple of months. Live a little more shaking at the vocal level but at 18 it can (and must) grow again.
VOTE: 6

Rkomi – “The rhythm of things”

Two problems dotted participation in the Rkomi Festival: first, how to properly pronounce its name and according to that “the rhythm of things” was a song that inexplicably went quiet. It's a shame because he could do better than that.
Vote 5

Gaia-150225

GAIA – “I call you call you”
Gaia came with the boost from the summer hit, “Sex and Samba”, with Tony Effe. He had to demonstrate that he maintains that level alone. And he also committed himself, indeed, with not obvious arrangements, a nice rhythm and a perfect refrain for Tiktok. Yet something has missed, at least so far. He will do well on the radio, but for now the traffic light is yellow.
VOTE: 6

Massimo Ranieri – “In his hands a heart”
Ranieri's value in the Italian music scene is sculpted in the stone. What was his festival I think he can translate into a separate race, perhaps more linked to the desire to say “I am still there and I too”. Room of iron and Nek, sung by a true professional evening after evening.
Vote 7

Joan Thiele – “Eco”
A shy and reserved participation for Joan Thiele who could act as a spatial trampoline to expand the circle of his admirers. “Eco” is a refined song and perhaps in the final evening he finds his best interpretation.
Joan made his task without great pindaric flights. Sometimes dreaming wouldn't hurt.
Vote 6

Shablo ft. Guè, Joshua, torment – “My word”
An operation for itself, it is difficult for this collective to lead to a wider project.
Class for those who love genre, for others (like me) to skip on some tamarrata made well.
VOTE: 5.50

Fedez – “Bapeta”
If you were honest, the Italian song festival would evaluate the song in the race and not the artist. Beat is a nice song but it seems that you feed it admitted. Fedez, despite all the controversies of the pre/during between parliamentary questions, violent articles, podcasts atrocious, managed to bring home a good festival.
Vote 8

Irama – “Slowly”Irama retains the via della Ballad, like last years. “Slowly”, it is the time that puts us to get to the way. But Irama has already announced his San Sir, so the festival after all did not go so badly. Between medieval helmets and cyberbullying with berry to the attached print, he did not send them to tell anyone. The why part of the press for its part has always been Freddina enough with him is still a question that is not answered.
Vote 6

Lucio Corsi – “I wanted to be a tough”
An alien landed from Grosseto, unknown to most and now loved by young and old. With simplicity but a lot of apprenticeship, it has become the real surprise of this festival. He risked the bang yesterday in the evening cover with Topo Gigio, tries again tonight … a solid, sincere arista, who will last in the Italian discography.
VOTE: 9

Elodie – “Forget about 7”
The expectations towards his festival were certainly much higher than reality. A song that does not seem to really take off. Too bad because this year she, like other colleagues, could give much more with the right songs.
Vote 5

Simone Cristicchi – “When you are small”
Cristicchi had been given (together with Giorgia) among the favorites to victory. “When you are small,” touches delicate points and maybe you spent a little too critical around the text, leaving the right or wrong feeling that it is. A great return for Simone who had been missing for a while
7.50 vote

Giorgia – “The cure for me”
Todrani could only improve 3 -year participation with “bad words”. Blanco's signature gives her a little more panache, vocally even better than 3 years ago, even if the song is not the masterpiece of the century. Will it be enough to confirm the announced winner?
VOTE: 6.50

Coma_cose – “Thares”
Coma things have also stuck this year. Cuoricini is a song that we will feel for a long time. The politically pop correct that is good for young and old … two hearts-Sofficini.
Vote 7

Achille Lauro – “Young unconscious”
Lauro finally chooses a “serious”, sober and with a convincing ballad, but perhaps “desperate love” could be played. However, it is in the running for the top 5 and perhaps something more.
VOTE: 7.50

Olly – “Balorda nostalgia”
Certainly the Olly Festival which showed impressive growth. Balorda Nostalgia has certainly hit the teen band. The question we ask is that it needs was to put it every evening in the best range of the ladder?
Vote 6

The Kolors – “You with whom you make love”

Stash & Co insist on the same wake of the last festival, but also in the wake of the megahit “Italodisco”, which are cloning to repetition, camping of annuity as far as possible. And it is a shame, because they can give much more, as Ruggeri, Tozzi and Morandi suggest. Special mention, the final incursion of Fr.
VOTE: 5.50

Rocco Hunt – “A thousand votes again”
Also for Rocco Hunt a sorting return. A thousand vote still is a song that does not know neither meat nor fish, painting an image of a Naples in which many no longer recognize each other.
Vote 5

Noemi – “If you fall in love with you”
Noemi brought a discreet song by Blanco and Mahmood but who does not scratch as much as his voice. But the direction is that, destination the new “are only words”, sooner or later it will return.
VOTE: 6.50

Francesco Gabbani – “Long live life”

Gabbani is an incurable optimist and his song Viva La vita is also a small hymn to the beter. A refrain that opens and remembers. A simple festival as simple is Gabbani.
A little more reality in a digital world.
Vote 7

BRUNORI SAS – “The tree of the walnuts”

Dario made a festival to frame, appreciated by all juries. There was a desire for songwriters with a capital C and he responded to the appeal with skill (and also so much unexpected irony).
VOTE: 8

Serena Brancale – “Anema and Core”
He raised the fate of his festival, the cover evening where he proved his preparation, not only vocal. Surely Serena believed it very much, however the song is a question point … it has the radio.
Vote 5

Clara – “Fever”
Mystery how Clara wanted to come back to the festival after 1 year with a song in the same but less incisive trail. Wasted opportunity?
VOTE: 4

Tony Effe – “Damme 'na hand”
He will remember his participation more for the complaint of the jewelry, for his boyfriend influencer than for his song “Damme 'na hand”. A festival that seems to have deflated the Tony phenomenon by relegating it to someone like many who, if it does not speak of bling bling, flies away like the wind.
VOTE: 3

Rose Villain – “Outlaw”

Unfortunately for her we are still in the phase in which you talk about her more for the beauty and outfits than for the musical proposal, which this year has passed more to the click boom
VOTE: 5

Modà – “I don't forget you”
A festival halfway for Modà due to a ruinous fall for Kekko. Unfortunately they erase the promotion and this has not facilitated them. Mention due is that they like few other songs write them without a string of authors to cope with the titles. It was the hour of the courage and they had it so as not to decide to give up even in the run started. The song is a good return that their fans certainly appreciate with vivid photos.
Vote 7

Bresh – “The Guro's den”

At his debut, Bresh has done well, both in the unprecedented and in the cover, not denying anything of his (long) artistic path and without leaving anyone with anyone. Genoa represented at best.
VOTE: 7

Marcella Bella – “Diamond leather”
Strong and tough definitely. Marcella Bella or loves it or you hate it, certainly always says what she thinks. A festival that was to be relaunched diamond skin is an attempt to modernity in half.
VOTE: 6

Willie Peyote – “Thanks but no thanks”
He went to him in 2021 with “Mai say never (the locura)” which earned him sixth place and the criticism prize. This year we feel to comment on his participation simply by quoting the title of the song: “Thanks but no thanks”.
VOTE: 5

Francesca Michielin – “Mud in Paradise”
A festival without infamy and without praise. A sincere but not very incisive song. His participation has passed a little quietly, remembering it more for Malleolo than for his somewhat theatrical performances

The vote

The first provisional general classification will be revealed before the start of the race and is the calculation from the average of all the votes obtained during the first three evenings.

Subsequently, the 29 artists in the race will perform and will be voted by all three components of the jury: televoting (percentage weight on the result of the 34%vote), jury of the press room, TV and web (33%), radio jury (33 %).

The result of this vote will be added to the result of the votes in the early evening and the joint result of the voting in the second and third evening to determine a medium percentage of the votes and therefore determine a new ranking.

The artists present in the first 5 positions in the standings will be announced without order of placement and we will proceed with a new vote: televoting (34%), jury of the press room, TV and web (33%), radio jury (33%).

The result will be added to the overall result of the previous votes (first evening, second and third evening, fifth evening) and a new average percentage of the votes referred to the artists in Top 5 will be determined.

The final ranking of Sanremo 2025 will therefore be drawn up.
