What is harmony for you?

We are people in the way we live, to what we have around, in harmony. Life is a rollercoster sometimes from an error the most beautiful things come out. We have a very true approach to music. The most grade success of the Planet Funk is that they have always been honest towards music and among us.

Who are the planet funk today?

We are not a cellar band. We are 4 producers who try to build something different in this country. We created our sound, for this we are here despite the loss of a brother (Sergio della Monica). We wrote a lot and we are ready to get a new single before the summer.

What have you done in these years of silence?

At the beginning for us it was particular to put our sound on the song. You can change the style, the sound but the message arrives anyway. We wrote a lot of music, we are putting everything together. We are starting to plan a European tour. We feel that we have countries where we went some time ago where there is an audience that awaits us

What does it mean to be an international collective?

We are a free collective, we do what we are where everyone brings their kind. This is something that we find very “liberating”.

A memory of these 25 years of music?

Playing after Santana is one of these. We were paralyzed in front of a monster like this.
