Elodiein the race at the 75th edition of the Sanremo Festival, he presented his unpublished on the stage of the Ariston theater Forget at 7, Written by Davide Petrella, Davide Simonetta and the same Elodie and produced by Hunter/Game.
“Forget about 7” is a song that unites the two souls of Elodie: the most classic one, which recalls the great tradition of Italian music, and the more dark and hypnotic one, influenced by electronic music. The song tells the journey of an important but troubled love story, as well as the precise moment in which the pain for the end of this relationship vanishes, bringing the protagonist to the awareness of the cruelty of love.
The title itself, “forgetting at 7”, refers to a specific morning time, a symbol of a moment after a night outside, in which we try to forget someone and leave the past behind, despite the difficulty of abandoning certain emotions.
Q&A
You are in your fourth participation in the Sanremo Festival (2017- all my fault, 2020- Andromeda, 2023- two). What does Sanremo mean for you, both from a professional and human point of view?
Sanremo was fundamental for my career. He marked the beginning of everything and gave me the opportunity to show who they really are. It is a magical stage, capable of making you feel powerful, beautiful and authentic. There is a strong emotional bond, because it has allowed me to grow and create deep connections with the public.
How do you live the emotion of the Ariston stage?
It is always an intense experience, a mix of conflicting emotions. You feel powerful, but also vulnerable. I learned to live with this dichotomy, to accept every side of myself without judging myself. I hug me for how they are, with all my strengths and defects, without demanding perfection.
Your music often has a strong emotional imprint. How can you transmit all these nuances?
I believe everything starts from authenticity. For me music is a means of telling me, to express what I really feel. I do not filter the emotions, I live them fully and let them flow in the songs. Even in moments of fragility, I believe that showing how you really are an act of strength.
You have a particular relationship with fashion. How important is it for you to also visually tell your music?
Fashion is a very powerful means of expression. I like playing with the image, telling a story also through clothes. I believe that music and style go hand in hand, creating a complete imagination that amplifies the message of the songs.
Your artistic path has been marked by continuous evolutions. What is the biggest challenge you have faced?
The biggest challenge was learning not to please everyone. At the beginning I tried to adapt to the expectations of others, but I understood that the only way to be truly free is to remain faithful to myself. Today I make music that represents me 100%, without compromise.
What can you tell us about your new album?
It is a very personal album, born from a path of inner growth. I explored new sounds, new emotions. There are songs that speak of love, strength, but also of fragility. I wanted to tell myself without filters, showing all the shades of my personality.
You have often taken positions on social issues. How much does it matter for you to use your voice even outside the stage?
I think those who have visibility also have a responsibility. I don't go back when I feel I have to say something important. I believe in the power of music as an instrument of reflection and change. I'm not afraid to expose myself, because I feel it is right to do it.
How do you prepare for your tour in the stadiums
N0N I wait to bring my live music, share the thrill of the stage with the public. We are preparing a super show with many surprises. I can't wait to continue this journey, without limits and without preconceptions.

The video
The video clip of the song, directed by the photographer and director Attilio Cusani and produced by Huge Films, explores the universal desire to be loved and the obsession with the search for approval. In an atmosphere that seems intimate but is pervaded by intense red tones, Elodie It establishes a magnetic link with the seated spectators who observe it.
This relationship intensifies until it leads to a tragic fate: its game of looks and confirmations drags it more and more in a spiral in which the need for validation becomes insatiable, up to the point where those who give themselves without limits risks getting lost, and It is inevitably consumed by its own obsession.
