SANREMO 2024: who will win? Word to the charts

Music news

Mahmood first on the radio, Geolier triumphs in streaming but overall Annalisa is the best placed.

While waiting to see who will triumphantly raise the lion of this edition n.74 of the Italian Song Festival tonight, we photographed the various charts at this time (Saturday 10 February, 12.00) to get some indications.

Below are the radio rankings (Mahmood first just a whisker away from Annalisa, who exchange the top spot almost at every F5), FIMI, Spotify (both first Geolier), iTunes (Annalisa) and the views on YouTube of the official videos (also here Geolier wins).

In the end we added all 4 rankings for a final overall ranking: how similar will it be to tonight’s final ranking?

SO ?

If Annalisa seems to have all the charts in overall agreement (and perhaps all the juries?), Mahmood is making a great recovery behind her (conquering the radio and even overtaking the redhead on Spotify). The #1 favorite Geolier is catching up on EarOne (so far his Achilles heel) but is very popular in the streams. Mango in the champions zone in all the rankings leads us to believe that these 4 years will probably be part of the final five that will be played for victory. The fifth name remains the most complicated to identify between Irama (who already demonstrated on Wednesday that he is very supported in the televoting), Bertè (almost certainly a critics’ prize) and the outsider Ghali. Out of the running seems to be Amoroso, The Kolors, Emma, who have never been among the top five this week.

When you say “Music has changed”: it’s surprising to see names like Negramaro, Il Volo and Fiorella Mannoia so low. We’ll see if they gain positions with the popular vote tonight.
