Here are the big names who will be competing at the next 74th Italian Song Festival. Amadeus, as announced, communicated the list to Tg1 at 1.30 pm.

THE NEWS’

Among the new features is the number of singers competing, which will increase from 26 to 30. As stated in the “amendment to the Sanremo 2024 regulations” document:

The number of Artists invited by the Artistic Director, referred to in the chapter “The Artists”, is varied from 23 (twenty-three) to 27 (twenty-seven). Consequently, the overall number of artists competing is also changed, which – including the 3 winning artists of the 2023 Sanremo Giovani edition – goes from 26 (twenty-six) to 30 (thirty).

THE CO-HOSTS

Full cast for the hosting of the five evenings of Sanremo 2024. The Artistic Director of the Italian Song Festival, Amadeusrevealed the missing co-hosts:

on Wednesday it will be the turn of Georgiesinger with extraordinary vocal skills, veteran of the Festival as well as winner in 1995;
Thursday Teresa Manninoamazing artist of TV, theater and cinema;
Friday Lorella Cuccarinithe eclectic TV presenter, singer, actress and dancer.
For the final his great friend Fiorello with which he debuted in his first edition of Sanremo and closes his fifth.
For the first evening, as super guest and co-host, Amadeus had already announced the winner of the last edition Marco Mengoni.
