Angelina Mango’s “La noioteca” opens in Sanremo. During the Festival, boredom will not just be a state of mind, but a real currency.
Boredom is time and I claim its value. – said Angelina – It is time that we potentially have available for ourselves, in which we can do things we like, discover new things.”
THE BORING CENTER
For this reason, “La noioteca” was born in the city center of Sanremo, open from today, Monday 5 February, at 2.30 pm in Via G. Matteotti 194: a place that offers unusual activities, linked to the world of the singer-songwriter, to be experienced by investing own “boredom”. The library will be open from Tuesday to Friday from 10.30am to 12pm and from 2.30pm to 7pm with admissions subject to capacity.
In fact, an atypical price list welcomes customers at the entrance, the “price” for discovering the activities inside is measured in the minutes of boredom that everyone is willing to invest, and so from the few minutes required for a trip to the photobooth between references to the Sanremo song and original memes or to discover what the future holds by breaking ironic fortune cookies, we arrive at longer investments for tutorials on Boredom, make up and hairstyles inspired by Angelina’s imagination. And again from temporary tattoos that tell of a passion of the young singer-songwriter, to mandalas, origami, and many other activities inspired by the text of La noia, to discover its meaning and many implications.
“La noioteca” thus becomes a place where time merges with music, transforming boredom into a creative and extraordinary adventure.
THE SONG
Boredom is written by Angelina Mango with Madame and composed by the two singer-songwriters together with Dardust, who also takes care of its production with EDD. A contemporary Mexican cumbia in which the singer-songwriter plays with contrasts: starting from the pressing and energetic rhythm on which her voice moves in apparent contrast with the title.
THE COVERS
On Friday evening, dedicated to covers, Angelina Mango will perform on the stage of the Ariston theater with the song “La rondine” by the singer-songwriter Pino Mango, accompanied by the String Quartet of the Rome Orchestra which is made up of some musicians who have takes part in the recording of the album “Disincanto” by Pino Mango, which contains the song “La rondine”.
THE TOUR
Participation in the Sanremo Festival represents a debut for the singer-songwriter revelation of the new music scene, who after the success of the last autumn tour in completely sold out clubs is ready to return live with “Angelina Mango nei club 2024”.
