SACKY "Balordo" is his new album out on March 8th

SACKY’s new album is titled “BALORDO”, out on Friday 8 March.

“BALORDO” is in fact released one year after his debut EP “THE VERO”, published on 27 January 2023 with the prestigious collaborations of Rondodasosa, Baby Gang, Neima Ezza, Massimo Pericolo, Ernia and a special contribution from Guè.

Of “BALORDO”, a term that indicates someone who leads a bizarre and meaningless life, SACKY has not yet revealed the complete tracklist, but it is certainly a project that will give fans the opposite of its literal meaning, finding and explaining in his lyrics the real sense of what Sacky has experienced and elaborated in life: from crimes to community, up to redemption through music.

THE SINGLES

The album was anticipated in recent weeks by the singles “Kayros”, a song that celebrates redemption recorded thanks to the contribution of the kids from Don Claudio Burgio’s community of the same name, and “Los Diablos” in collaboration with ARTIE 5IVE and 167 GANG, a decidedly street track with raw bars from which the imagination of the three artists exudes.

“BALORDO” was also preceded by some online and offline clues about his arrival, starting from the same monologue in the trailer in which SACKY lets himself go into the story of his life and in particular of the figure of the “balordi” seen from a past perspective and from his current present, up to photos, videos and clothing in which the word “stupid” often appeared in the artist’s storytelling.

Last but not least, today’s activity held in the Galileo Galilei school in San Siro, where the artist distributed some copies of a newspaper designed specifically to announce the arrival of “BALORDO”. A carefully prepared album, which is now highly anticipated by SACKY fans, and which promises to still be full of surprises to be revealed.

Certainly, we can expect an album full of guests who will encounter SACKY’s versatile flow with their own contributions, with a choice of productions that embrace different sounds and moods, capable of meeting the talent and rhymes of this authentic artist and genuine. At the center, his own neighborhood and its narrative without paying attention to censorship and without setting any limits: this is the real Sacky in a 2024 in which he is ready to take everything.

ABOUT SACKY

SACKY, pseudonym of Sami Abou El Hassan, was born in Milan in 2001 to a mother of Moroccan origins and an Egyptian father, and grew up in the working-class neighborhood of San Siro. After the publication of the first singles “Bandito”, “Paranza” and “Ora d’aria”, in 2020 he collaborated for the first time with Baby Gang for the song “Bimbi soldier”, which to date exceeds 15 million listens only on Spotify. 2021 continues with the songs “AMG”, “La prima volta” and “Shawty”, a single by Rondodasosa featuring him, which obtains Gold record certification. The year is prosperous for the artist, who continues to add to his portfolio singles such as “Gennaro & Ciro” with Baby Gang and the French rap star Lacrim, one of the most successful rappers in Europe.

In 2022, Sacky releases the singles “Antipatico” and “Shoot” feat. Gazo, another important name on the French rap scene. In the same year, together with his collective Seven 7oo which also includes Rondodasosa, Vale Pain, Keta, Neima Ezza, Kilimoney and the producer NKO, he published the Mixtape “Seven 7oo” which also contains the platinum certified posse track of the same name .
On 19 December 2022 he released “21 Freestyle” on the occasion of his twenty-first birthday, followed by “Nessuno”, the first extract from the new EP “Quello Vero”, available from 27 January 2023.
The street attitude and the ability to alternate rawer songs with more melodic and melancholic experiments has always been a strong point of Sacky, who confirms himself among the most promising voices of the new Italian rap scene. On February 16th Sacky returns after his latest release “WHERE WERE YOU?” in collaboration with Baby Gang and “Kayros”, released last February 9th.

“Los Diablos” is the latest single with Artie 5ive and 167 Gang, which anticipates the arrival of “Balordo”, Sacky’s first official album arriving on Friday 8 March.
