Global pop superstar Sabrina Carpenter has released her new album, “Short n’ Sweet.”
Sabrina Carpenter wrote her fifth album with Amy Allen, Julia Michaels and Steph Jones, along with John Ryan, Julian Bunetta and Jack Antonoff, who also produced the entire project.
“Short n' Sweet” is Sabrina's most personal album yet, composed of 12 tracks that create a pop sound flow, of which “Taste” is the focus track, which today entered directly at #2 in the US Top Hits, where “Please Please Please” and “Espresso” are already stable.
With two major hits already released from the album, Sabrina has made history in current music by emerging as “the first female artist to simultaneously top the Billboard Global 200 and Global Ex-US charts with two different songs,” namely “Espresso” (certified gold in Italy and stable at #35 in the Top 50 on Spotify Italy) and “Please Please Please.” Collaborating with GRAMMY Award winners Jack Antonoff and Amy Allen, “Please Please Please” was also her first song to reach #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Additionally, Sabrina became “the first artist to earn two #1s at Top 40 radio this year” as, prior to that, “Espresso” dominated the chart for three consecutive weeks. As the third fastest song to reach 1 billion streams in Spotify history, “Espresso” also scored her second #1 on the Billboard Pop Airplay Chart and received unanimous acclaim from critics, taking the top spot on the Spotify Global, US and UK charts. The single’s success added to the incredible momentum generated by the success of “Feather,” which earned her first #1 at Top 40 radio.
In the UK, she is “one of the few artists to have achieved both No. 1 and No. 2 in the UK charts”, placing her in good company alongside Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande and Ed Sheeran (with whom she shares the record of holding the chart for five consecutive weeks). She has also recorded a total of 12 weeks at No. 1 in the UK singles chart this year.

The American pop star will be busy this fall with her “Short n' Sweet Tour” in the USA and then arriving in Europe and the UK in March 2025. Sabrina will also be in Italy with a single date on Wednesday 26 March 2025 at the Unipol Forum in Milan.
