The Swedes' last appearance in France dates back to 2023, during a triumph at the Zénith in Paris, at which the editorial staff was present. The group notably presented the titles of The War To End All Wars, its latest album, released in 2021. “ Sabaton has been dealing with historical subjects in his songs for many years » explains bassist and founding member Pär Sundström in an interview with the editorial staff to be found in our weekly n°137. “We are always looking for new ways to explain the meaning.” He nevertheless knows his place: “We are not teachers strictly speaking. But we can generate interest. Our pieces cannot explain all the ins and outs of a historical event on their own. »

Sabaton has not yet communicated the outlines of a possible next studio album. It now remains for them to define the contours of this mysterious “Legendary Orchestra” and the way in which these next dates will be structured.
