With the announcement of his next album, All Quiet On The Eastern Esplanade, it is time to learn about the first part of a series of videos that cover the history of the album. In “Run run run” We enter the point of view of a taxi driver, who takes a series of characters to their destination. In the middle of the journey, the same driver is freed, thanks to the trips of the others.

This song recovers the anarchist aura that marked the group in its past, now more proud of it. With a punk anthem, he frees himself from the past: “you better run faster than the past”, a moment of reflection that The Libertines printed in his album.

The music video was directed by Alex Brown, recorded at different locations in Margate, Cliftonville and The Albion Rooms, the band’s “creative sanctuary”. In each video they will show the story of the enigmatic characters on the album cover, are you ready to discover the world of The Libertines?
