Rosalía becomes the protagonist of the “Trend of the Spanish look”

Music news

What we like most about TikTok is the imagination that people have. Every day the video platform surprises us with a new viral challenge to join. And what has come out this week? Nothing more and nothing less than the “Trend of the Spanish look”. That’s what it’s called. And what does it consist of? In demonstrating to the entire world that Spaniards are the most expressive people in the world.. So clear! And how do we prove it? Well, recording ourselves in front of the camera and receiving a diamond that drives us crazy. A jewel with which we cannot repress our primary instincts and its beauty dazzles us.

And what does Rosalía have to do with all this? Well, because this trend is not going to happen on its own: it needs an audio to give sense to this matter. In this way, hundreds of people have decided to use the audio of Que no sal la luna from El Mal Querer by Rosalía to bring out their best interpretative facet.

But they have not used the part where she sings, but rather where Rosalía’s voice embodies the fiancée of the story and stands in front of the enormous diamond with which she has been asked to marry (it should be remembered that this 2018 album is inspired by the classic work Flamenco).

“Let’s see, let’s see, show me that one. How it shines! My goodness, how handsome. Diamonds, now with diamonds, I like it,” says the voice of the Catalan singer in the middle of the song.

A trend very easy to do

With these words, hundreds of users on Twitter have decided to show the world how expressive we Spaniards are, lip syncing this moment as if they were the protagonist herself.

Tiktokers with millions of followers like Claudia García have been encouraged to upload their own version under the name “Spanish Look”. Then, depending on the autonomous community to which you belong, you can add the “Madrid Edition”, “Murcia Edition” or “Asturias Edition”, or from wherever you want.

Without a doubt, the Trend of the Spanish look has become a phenomenon on the social network. Will Rosalía herself dare to do it? We would like nothing more!
