Omar Montes continues to add collaborations to his recording career, this time with a Mexican protagonist that everyone would like to have on their agenda: Carín León. The hat artist is the desire for collaboration of any urban singer who wants to be on the crest of the wave and make a great song. And it seems that Omar, who knows very well the requests of his fans, has been able to listen to the audience’s prayers with the release of Rum and coke.
The video clip and the song Rum and coke It will be available in Spain next Thursday night, starting at 00:00h.; and in Mexico from 5:00 p.m.. From what we have been able to see, in the purest C Tangana style, the artists gather with a group of friends, clapping and to the rhythm of flamenco guitars to sing their new song. Everything indicates that it will be a 100% flamenco video clip that fits perfectly with its companion.
The flamenco sounds of Omar Montes’ style fit perfectly with the Mexican regional of León. “I was born in the street and I am going to die in the street,” says the singer of Sand and Salt in one of its stanzas. The letter of Rum with cola It fits both reasons, with phrases related to each of them and a melody that is easy to listen to, catchy and meets all the requirements to be liked.
It is not the first news we have about this song, and we have already been able to listen to it before, although only for the first time on Amazon Music. Omar Montes and Carín León presented this long-awaited song last November in Seville, in an event organized by the platform within the framework of the Latin Grammys. Both artists took to a special stage located in the Setas de Sevilla in the central Plaza de la Encarnación, in front of hundreds of attendees. The presentation of Rum and coke It was an ephemeral event that seemed to have been forgotten, but that the singers have revived again with the launch for next day the 7th.
Add and continue
Carín León is not the only collaboration that Omar Montes has for these days. The Madrid native announced his triplet with Ana Mena, a friend and partner with whom he has launched two of his hits more important: Only and Like the water. They themselves know that their combination is a bomb that anyone wants to explode, and their next song is already promising just by knowing of its existence.
When will it come out? Ana Mena has not hesitated to respond to her fans and assures that we will be able to hear her “Ya mismito.” And we can’t wait any longer. For now though, we can save the date of Rum and coke on our calendar and continue enjoying The cat under the rain.
