Debut at number one in the UK album charts for Rod Stewart and Jools Holland’s collaborative album “Swing Fever”.

Despite a music and television career spanning sixty years, “Swing Fever” marks Jools Holland’s first chart-topping album, and becomes Sir Rod Steward’s eleventh number one as a solo artist.

This means that Rod is now tied with David Bowie, Taylor Swift and U2 in the list of artists with the most number 1 albums in the UK; all with 11 each.

THE NEW ENTRY

Among the new entries in this week’s top ten we find the Scottish rock group at number two The Snuts with “Millennials” reaches number 2. The band tops the official record store charts.

The Barking-born rapper and songwriter makes his debut at number five, Potter Payper with his third Top 5 album “Thanks For Hating”.

Another new entry at number eight with i Red Rum Club with “Western Approaches”.
