Ringo Starr and Ronnie Wood join Paul McCartney on stage

Paul McCartney closed his tour in London by calling on Ringo Starr for two songs and Ronnie Wood for “ Get Back HAS”.

Paul McCartney closed his Got Back tour on Thursday evening at the O2 in London. He took advantage of the opportunity to meet up with his Beatles companion Ringo Starr, but also Ronnie Wood from the Rolling Stones. He also played on the bass which had been stolen from him 50 years ago and which had been returned to him this year.

The drummer ended his performance by thanking the audience: “ I'm leaving, but I had a great evening. It's great to play with my old friend, but there comes a time when you have to go home. All that's left to say is that I'll see you next time. HAS”

Earlier in the concert, McCartney introduced his old bass: “ I haven't played it in 50 years. Plus, we have a special guest for you. A WECB. Ronnie Wood HAS”. The guitarist joined McCartney for another Beatles track, ” Get Back HAS”.

Over the weekend, McCartney delivered a special rendition of his Christmas song “ Wonderful Christmastime “, during his concert in Manchester. This title has only been played live ten times since its release in 1979.

The Got Back Tour also saw McCartney perform live for the first time ” Now and Then » by the Beatles.
