Rich The Kid was arrested for resisting a public official
Rich the Kid was arrested Sunday evening in Miami on charges of resisting a public official.
The rapper was in Miami Beach for Art Basel when police responded to a bomb threat at the SLS Hotel in South Beach, where he was staying.
The police established a perimeter marked off with police tape so that no one could enter the hotel while the necessary checks were underway.
As reported by TMZ, Rich the Kid told the cops that he had to enter his hotel room, but was told that it was not possible at least until they had completed the necessary checks and ensured that there were no dangers and he they warned that he would be arrested if he continued to insist on entering.
Rich The Kid continued to persist and climbed over the fence onto the property.
Once inside the hotel, he was confronted by a K-9 unit who ordered him to leave the property immediately, but Rich refused and continued on his way and was arrested for this.
