Check out “God's Gonna Cut You Down,” a personal cover of Johnny Cash by The Native Howl, an American group that likes to mix bluegrass and metal influences. They have not yet specified whether this title foreshadows the release of a possible new album.
Jeremie Albino – I Don't Mind Waiting
Bluesy atmosphere and raw emotion are the key words of “I Don't Mond Waiting,” the new title by Jeremie Albino, signed to EasyEye Sound, label of Dan Auerbach (The Black Keys). To be found in the album Our Time In The Sun, whose release is announced for November 1st.
Thee Sacred Souls – Live For You
Before the album Got A Story To Tell is released on October 4, check out the fresh and joyful “Live For You,” supported by Josh Lane’s high-flying vocal performance. Don’t miss them on August 20 at the Nice Jazz Fest!
Brian Lopez – Soledad
The guitarist of XIXA and Calexico continues his solo adventures with an instrumental B-side entitled “Soledad.” It is inspired by the novel One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel GarcĂa Márquez and pays homage to the literary style of magical realism, of which the author is one of the most illustrious representatives.
The Picturebooks – Why Mother Why
Ahead of their October tour supporting Pretenders, The Picturebooks have released a new music video filmed in Los Angeles, setting the scene for the powerful and catchy blues-rock track “Why Mother Why.”
Suki Waterhouse – Blackout Drunk
After a remarkable performance at Coachella, American singer and actress Suki Waterhouse recounts some funny memories with “Blackout Drunk.” To be found in the album Memoir of a Sparklemuffin, scheduled for September 13.
Bonny Doon – Clock Keeps Ticking
