About Benidorm Fest

Asked if they would go to the Benidorm Festivalthe festival in which the Spanish representative for Eurovision is chosen, the musician Pablo Alonso has declared that “It’s not the goal of the group, but you can never say never again.”.

Listening to them, it doesn’t seem very likely that we’ll see Pignoise competing to take home the Bronze Microphonethe festival trophy, however, Álvaro has commented on it: “It seems very good to me that well-established artists are also beginning to appear, it seems phenomenal to me, and I think that it should not be underestimated in any case, but perhaps we have always thought that our path is another, the long path, another path”. And the former soccer player adds: “I wouldn’t see how entering a contest to go to Eurovision could change our lives for the better.”.

As part of the events celebrating its two decades of existence, Pignoise has already announced two major concerts: they will be November 30, 2024 at the Sant Jordi Club in Barcelona and March 7, 2025 at the Wizink Center in Madrid.
