What was experienced by Manuel Turizo this February 26th in the Chile’s Viña del Mar Festival It has been unforgettable. The Colombian has appeared with his brother Julián de él to perform some of the most emblematic songs of his career. What they did not know is that his talent would end up receiving great recognition from his Chilean audience.

“Being here, in Viña del Mar, is a dream come true. I always wanted to share my music in one of the most emblematic stages of Spanish music, and I have finally achieved it”said Manuel on stage. In addition to serving as a jury at the festival, he set the rhythm with songs like The Note, Bad Custom and Let her come back. Also with Love me while you canwhich he performed while playing the piano.

The surprise came when they gave him the Golden and Silver Seagulls, which are recognition from the public and the jury of Viña del Mar. The applause did not stop when Julián and Manuel held these two awards in front of their fans. But it did not stop there. Moments before his performance, the Colombian received two certifications from Sony Music executives: a Double Diamond Stream for having exceeded 100 million views on The bachata in Chile, and another Platinum Stream to the single Meringue together with Marshmello for having reached 20 million listeners in Chile.

“My heart is for the Chilean public,” declared the artist live. And having been present at this festival has been, without a doubt, a new achievement to add to his career, since it is one of the most important in the music industry, especially in Latin America. Thus, Turizo reaffirms himself as one of the most relevant voices on the current scene.
