The British new wave duo Pet Shop Boys unveils a new single entitled “Loneliness”. The audio version is available via the player below and its music video, directed by Alasdair McLellan, can be seen on YouTube.

Produced by James Ford (Depeche Mode, Blur, Gorillaz, Arctic Monkeys…), this title is the first extract from nonethelessnext album from Pet Shop Boyswhose release is announced on April 26. “We loved working with James Ford, we think he brought new elements to our music” declare Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe in a press release. “He dared to make our compositions more minimal at times and the result is a record of which we are very proud. » This disc arrives four years after its predecessor, entitled Hotspot.

Pet Shop Boys have not yet announced any concerts in France. The latest dates back to June 2023 and took place at the Olympia (Paris). It took place as part of the Dreamworld tour, during which they presented their greatest hits.
