PEGGY GOU + LENNY KRAVITZ “I Believe in Love Again” listen to the new single!

Music news

Peggy Gou publishes I Believe In Love Again, the follow-up to his summer hit single “(It Goes Like) Nanana,” a song he co-wrote with Lenny Kravitz.

“I Believe In Love Again” is the sound of an artist who continues to defy categorization: a timeless R&B-tinged anthem that reflects Gou’s range of diverse influences and open musical philosophy. In this piece we hear Kravitz as we have rarely heard him before.

The 90s had a huge influence on my music,” says Gou,

People know about my love for the dance/house/rave scene of that era, but I’ve always been a big R&B fan and also a big Lenny fan. I’ve listened endlessly to his 1998 album “5” – my favorite – but his entire discography is fantastic, absolutely timeless.

He went into the studio and turned the vocals into magic, writing new lyrics and creating that amazing guitar riff.

“I Believe In Love Again” is a strong message of positivity and hope that we hope everyone takes away when they listen to the song.”

THE NEW ALBUM

“I Believe In Love Again” is the second single from Peggy Gou’s long-awaited debut album, scheduled for release in 2024 on XL Recordings. The single follows the huge success of “(It Goes Like) Nanana,” widely regarded as the international song of the summer and a symbol of Gou’s biggest year to date. Released in June to great acclaim, “(It Goes Like) Nanana” quickly became a worldwide phenomenon. As well as jamming the streets of London and New York with pop-up events, the single has already racked up nearly half a billion streams, topped the singles charts in the Netherlands, Belgium and Greece and spent months in the top 10 on the UK Singles Chart and at number 1 on the Global Shazam Chart. The song also entered the top 40 of Billboard’s Global 200 and topped the Billboard Dance Airplay chart, marking Peggy Gou’s first #1 on US radio. It has become a viral phenomenon on social media and continues to soundtrack sunsets and sunrises around the world.

Meanwhile, Peggy Gou has spent 2023 cementing her status as one of the most in-demand DJs, able to headline everywhere from the stages of the world’s biggest festivals to the most incredible underground events. These appearances include the fourth annual Pleasure Garden, Peggy’s 8,000-capacity festival in London’s Finsbury Park, as well as a series of sold-out global events.
